Red Jacket is a small hobby kennel located in Leander, Texas just north of Austin. My goal is to breed vizslas with longevity, robust health, intelligence, drive to hunt, and sweet dispositions first. However, I have found that beauty -- sometimes spectacular beauty -- follows these traits in dogs as it often does in people. In the show ring Red Jackets often win; in the field they hunt, and many work as service dogs. But our favorite homes are those where a Red Jacket puppy's only claim to fame is being a cherished member of your family for many years.

Our Jasmine (Dirigo Dixieland Jazz) and Zoltan (Ch. Red Jacket Zoltan Piroska) have two week old puppies. Three girls are still available for reservation. The puppies will be ready to go home in the first week of February.
Dazzle (Red Jacket Light on the Water) is expecting puppies by Zoltan to be born by December 20th and ready for homes for homes near the first of March. Males and females are still available for reservation from Dazzle's litter. River (Red Jacket River of Stars) is a one year old female from this same breeding. All puppies from the first breeding have turned out beautiful, strong, smart, and very sweet. Jasmine and Dazzle are playing in the first picture. River is in the second picture.
